 BROCK WASHINGTON

Brock Washington of Michigan is a driven Juris Doctor candidate at Howard University School of Law, with a deep passion for business law, corporate transactions, and entrepreneurship. Brock’s journey in the legal field began with his academic success at Michigan State University, where he earned his Bachelor of Science degree, made the Dean’s List, and played for the MSU Men’s Basketball team, earning Academic All-Big Ten honors.

At Howard, Brock continues to excel, maintaining a 3.5 GPA while being actively involved in the Business Law Society, the Sports & Entertainment Law Association, and the National Black Law Students Association. He has also served as a Teacher’s Assistant for Torts and is a member of the HUSL Mentorship Program, where he helps guide and inspire fellow students.

Brock’s legal experience is equally impressive. He has worked as a Summer Associate at Goodwin Procter LLP, gaining hands-on experience in SEC filings, private equity acquisitions, and antitrust issues. His time as an in-house legal extern at Genius Sports further strengthened his expertise in contract negotiations and legal due diligence, particularly in the fast-evolving sports and technology sectors. Through these experiences, Brock developed a strong attention to detail and a passion for navigating complex legal challenges.

Beyond the classroom and courtroom, Brock is deeply committed to his community. As a mentor with the Horatio Williams Foundation and a young adult leader with the Tarence Wheeler Foundation, he dedicates his time to empowering and guiding Detroit’s youth.

Brock’s diverse experiences and dedication to both law and community make him a unique force in the legal field. Whether you’re looking for legal insights or seeking inspiration from a motivated law student, Brock Washington is ready to make a lasting impact on the world of business law.
